2010 Peoria Notre Dame Invite - Varsity Race
Was originally supposed to race in the Frosh/Soph race and try to compete for the win, but there was an incoming lightening storm and the meet got delayed. hanson thought they might cancel all the other races to get varsity in, so he moved Jon, Trevor and I into the top 10 for the varsity race. Got swallowed by the race, and didn't know how to navigate a crowd that big. Had a modest 1 second PR, but that was with me getting slowed down constantly by the field around me. Placed 169th. The team did place 5th and trophied which was cool.
Also, they combined boys frosh/soph, boys JV and girls JV into one massive race. The field have over 1000 runners and the ground shook when they started. Glad I didn't have to race in that one.
