25' Tempo + 4 x 30" Hard (90" RJ)

Nice workout this afternoon, hopefully this will be the one to finally kickstart me into some consistent training. Need to get my butt in gear with the 4 miler coming up in a few weeks, though I think getting too much fitness for that is a bit of a lost cause, but will still be fun to see what I can do. This went pretty well. Tried to stay within myself early on and find a good rhythm. Felt like I accomplished that and was able to pick it up and feel good for the last mile and change. Tired at the end of the tempo, so think I gave a good effort. The long strides at the end also felt good, though it's clear that I haven't run fast in a long time. May be time for regular strides to make a comeback?
