Made the trip down to Waterfall to meet up with Ryan. It was a cool morning, and it ended up being absolutely perfect for this run. Ryan joined me for the first loop. We kept the pace pretty chill and had some good chats. Dropped Ryan off near the start and then went out about 3 miles solo and then came back. Saw the Loyola Academy xc team on the way out, they all waved and said hi. Picked up the pace decently and closed fairly well. No splits on this unfortunately, but the average pace of the last 6ish miles was around 6:20s. Felt great to open up and just cruise.
Stretched after, rolled later on. Left achilles has felt a bit stiff the past few days. Keeping an eye on it, may need to return to doing heel drops again.
