25' Tempo
Ran this on the treadmill at the Y after work:
Mile 1 @ 10.0 MPH
Mile 2 @ 10.2 MPH
Mile 3 @ 10.4 MPH
Mile 4 @ 10.6 MPH
Last bit @ 10.8 MPH
All at 1% incline
First workout since September, so wanted to do something short and hopefully kind of easy. Went on the treadmill tonight, and will probably be doing most of my workouts on the treadmill until daylight savings time in March. The workout felt good, the first 10' were probably the hardest part. Once I found a rhythm and I adjusted to running fast-ish, the time just melted away. Got really sweaty and my hair kept getting sweat in my eyes. Originally planned for 4 miles, but was feeling good, so ran the extra few minutes to get to 25'. Nothing too huge here, but happy to have a starting place.
