met val and a friend from canada this morning.
the canadian friend said she ran 10min miles and I said I would be running 9:30s for my recovery run...turns out she really runs 11:30's lol and we couldn't leave her alone in the dark so the first 2 miles were SLOW.

it was a good run. perfect temp. Val askedme lots of questions about marathon training....I couldn't answer many b/c I hven't started mine yet but it got me really excited to run my first marathon:):)
ran 6 instead of 5 b/c I need to make up some miles from yesterday to hit my 48 this week:)
