Haven't run since 2/18! So I was a little curious/worried if I could still run 5k. Relieved that I still can. And apparently this is the fastest 5k I've *ever* run! I give thanks to the good weather conditions (no sun, cool) and CrossFit! Lots of gnatty bugs out there but I don't think I swallowed any. Wasn't an easy run but wasn't super hard either. Had to fight some wind a few times. I enjoyed the run overall though. No music so entertained myself with my deep thoughts: 1. Zombie attack. Don't think I would ever survive one. I don't have much of a survival instinct. 2. Ate mucho sugar in the form of ice cream and candy this week. And Easter candy today. So stomach wasn't feeling the bestest. Back when I was running more I didn't try to go for long distances because my GI system didn't cooperate. I wonder if that's because I was eating grains and such then. 3. Vowed to myself that I would only run when I like the weather conditions :)
