Notes
Went for a long run in DC on Friday afternoon. Got in some good hills running to the zoo from 19th and M street, running to the end of the zoo and back (big hill), and returning back to Kaplan. I felt great, no shin splints, and was tempted to keep running except I got too thirsty (I didnt carry any water). I had plenty of energy after the run, and casually walked a few miles afterwards on my way to a friend's apartment. I definitely feel more confident about running the 1/2 marathon next saturday.
