Notes

Note: Just as an fyi, most of my runs I do with my dog. This is the only time I can get her to exercise, and she is definitely a runner and my motivation for when I am tired or am running slow (she keeps up with my fast pace). I generally run with her up to 6-7 miles.

Felt really tired on this run and sore from the day before, so I took it a bit easy on myself and allowed myself a slower pace. I considered this run a warm-up and losening up the muscles for my climbing class later in the evening (climbing class runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00-9:30 pm).

Side note: My climbing class is a very intense 4-weeks of climbing and cross training (classes consist of climbing various levels of difficulty repeatedly until failure--cant climb any further). It is great strength training and complements my running well. Monday night left me pretty wiped, and my upper body was pretty sore come Tuesday. Felt great though, and I am stronger and enduring longer in both my climbing and running.
