Notes

Practice today was indian running. I felt fine for the first 2+ miles, but slowly my left ankle (which I rolled falling on a boulder last Saturday) started to ache and then send flashes of pain up my leg. I felt this most when speeding up to get to the front of the line and when I was pushing to run at a quick pace. I decided to hold back and run in the back of the line, which helped me finish the run, although my ankle pain continued for the rest of the run. Despite all this, I managed to keep up and avoid stopping, and felt like I worked pretty hard on that run. Last night and today its been ice and naproxen. I am not sure of if I will run Wednesday but I will give it a go--perhaps a slow easy run (recovery) will not hamper the sprain? Not sure if rest or being careful while continuing to run is the way to go. I will play by ear.
