Did a 5k race at my moms work. There wasn't much competition so I came in second. I've never run through a banner finish thing and I have to say it was not as graceful as the professionals make it seem. They held it too high so it practically decapitated me, and it wasn't made of rippable paper so needless to say it was rather awkward.
My dad finished his first 5k in less than 25 minutes, and came in second for his age group though!!!!
Also, I tried to make this a down week but I still ended up with the same amount of mileage.
