Notes
So the track was lightly covered in snow and I couldn't see the lines, so I arbitrarily set a start and 200 meter mark. I would run a 200 and then jog a 400, so I'd start every other 200 at opposite sides of the track. I ran the same effort but the times were different enough where one '200' was definitely shorter than the other. So all the odd intervals were a little longer than the even ones, but I just kept it consistent and kept running from the same points. So I averaged around 40 for the 200s. If that makes sense.
After the warm-up my legs were just numb and I ran the intervals by feel, so since I couldn't feel anything, running a little faster than anticipated still felt good. I've been feeling good the past 4 days and I was surprised to have felt this good today, especially since I had been nervous to start speed work.
