First 10K, kinda nervous.
I didn't have much of an expectation going in, other than thinking 42min was a lofty goal. Ran the first mile with the mindset of 'conservative' and when they called out the split, I said to myself: I can do this effort the whole time. Ran this one alone, so I pretty much just sat comfortably. Second half turned into uphills so it may not have seemed to be negative splits, but the effort was there. 20:05, 20:10
