It's safe to say that I've been nervous about whether i'll be in racing shape for track next year. So I've been thinking and came up with a plan of action to feel more confident. I know my body enough to know I can't train like I want to this semester due to lack of sleep and energy. I will run as much as I can, but I will also start adding in cross training on the bike and also abs and yoga (that'll take up less time and energy than running would). Once this wonderful semester is over, I will get back into it with some summer base training that'll lead into the cross country season. Sprinkled in I will do add some speed workouts and races. Once indoor track begins to approach, I will start sharpening and do the scheduled faster workouts/training that coach provides.

I'm hoping that this will let me peak at the right time without training into the ground and burning out too soon, since I have a lot of time for training.

i trust the process and I'm pumped but have to be patient and hungry.
