Discovered a cause of my quad pain all those years. After being 100% quad pain free for 6 months wearing the other shoes, I've had quad pain every day since I've switched back to the pegs. It's pretty mild right now and I can tell it's stemming from a hip prob, so I'm conflicted whether to really focus on trying to work out the hip/back problems or if I should splurge and continue getting trainers that are 3x more $ than the discounted pegs I usually get.
