My new spikes came and I was pumped. They felt great, and I loved racing in them.
I was seeded last for my heat, so I went out and forced myself to be in the back and boxed in. The strategy worked well and I hit 43s for the first few laps but then the pack of 5 in front of me dropped down to 46s so I made a move (too early) and yeah... for that reason it felt like a bad race. I also got a sticker stuck on one of my spikes so that was stupid.
I'm not where I want to be yet so I can't wait for this weeks workout to help me to keep getting stronger.
