Attempt #2:

First mile was 8:20. The rest of the first thirty minutes was 8:02 pace. The steady five minutes was 7:20. I knew the point where I was a mile from the house so I pushed myself to get there and that mile was 6:53. I still had five minutes left so I gave it what I got. I only did a tiny loop so from that point I must have mapped it right but I got 6:37 pace.
