Notes
I set out intending to do 6 or 7 easy miles, but my body was having none of it. My legs ached with lactic acid, it hurt like hell to maintain even an 11 minute pace. Felt like death. I gave up.
There are three possible causes here:
1. Overtraining - I really should be throwing in a few cross-training sessions a few days a week instead of running, I know better.
2. Vitamin C from last night. Doubt it though, don't usually have a problem.
3. Screwing up my training schedule this week.
4. Core condition class from last night!
I'm going to assume the problem is both 1 and 4 and stop running until Sunday's race. Maybe I'll try to find a spinning or step class for the week.
