Interval Comment: "Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, NY (white, then blue, then red loops)"

Comment: "What an incredible place. Trails were wide and mostly clear, with some good hills. Lots of rocks and roots and lots of variety. Did the white loop first (4.7 mi) in 50:33. Had some backtracking so, I'm rounding this up to 5 miles. Next, I did the blue loop. The park host said this was the ""wildest"" route, and she wasn't kidding. The first half (counter clock-wise) was very rugged, with some hands and feet climbing/decents. It took me to the highest point in the park (under 900 feet) and was incredibly beautiful. It took me 50:08 on this 4 mile loop, some not runnable, some very runnable. I moved my car to the trailhead of the red loop, but I immediately took the wrong trail. I estimate I was a good mile of extra acerage on this 5 mile loop. It was the easiest, but I still got turned around a bit. It took me 1:13:19 on this loop. A good run overall!"
