Interval Comment: "NTTR night prediction run Lake Grapevine - From MADD shelter to north gate, back to MADD, to Rockledge and back"
Comment: "Tough run overall. Predicted 3:50, but would have put down 4 except the guy before me picked that time. I thought about going just over 4, but decided to put a ""stretch"" goal down instead. Went out pretty quick, hoping to get some time in the bank before dark. I did well until I rolled an ankle just after the north gate turnaround, maybe about 5.25 miles into the run. It was the old ankle injury relived, with substantial hopping and cursing and non-weight bering activity for a couple of minutes. After that, it seemed to be OK, so I took off again only to have a hard face plant and PI roll a few minutes later. Overall a very tough run, as it seemed the trail was much more challenging, a product of the June rains. Finished in 4:02 and glad to be done."
