Original idea was to run MPs but the weather seemed pretty good. A little cooler than normal for B-10 and overcast throughout the race. Good start, slow up hill in mile 2, consistent around Lake Montebello and 33rd street. Slowed down coming around the pool at Druid Hill lake going uphill again.
Ran most of the time with Bill Brown and then he crushed me from mile 9 on. Course PR!
Okay, pay attention. Go to the race from the west side from RT 70 and through town and enter the park at west/north end. Do not, I repeat, do not come from south through the city. Also, early arrival is better.
There were 130 finishers in the Male 55 to 59 age group and 3901 finishers in the Run Division.
