Notes

The end of January and the end of Jan-a-thon. What an experience. No one recommends running every day unless you are an elite athlete. I am far from that. Jan-a-thon is about consistency, determination, toughness and being part of the group. As much as I dislike the inventor of Jan-a-thon and what it takes to do it, I'm always pleased when I have completed it successfully. Went out with a flourish today with an 8 mile run. Ended up beating my best Jan-a-Thon of 2012 by about 6 miles.

So, some days were ridiculously cold. Cold like a morgue. Cold like Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise. Yes, that cold.

Two days stuck out. One was a wind chill day that snuffed my breathing it was that cold. The other one was Zombie two Wednesdays ago where we could only manage 5 miles it was so bad.

The End. Now on to a fun 2014. Adventures, marathons, trail running, pacing, CAT(?), who knows what else. Come join me in the fun.

How cold was it? Cold like Tom Cruse and Mimi Rogers? Now THAT'S cold.

Colorado Gump

That is cold. Like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anderson.
