Notes

This turned out to be an epic run. Greg, Frank, Faye, Hussein and me. Alyssa was supposed to join but got the start time mixed up. She waited in the parking lot for us to finish to show that she really wanted to run, next time.

The run starts out with Hussein complaining that we said 6 to 8 miles and looked like the group was favoring 6 miles and what he really wanted was 10. Then we got into one of those conversations where some how man boobs (Moobs) came up and Faye nearly lost her lunch from laughing. We're having a fun time and then lightning starts to hit and hit pretty close. We know the rain is coming.

We're back around Centennial and the skies open. Rain, lightning, thunder. Hide in a pavilion for a while. Looks like things have calmed down and also down is the temperature. Probably 15 degrees cooler in just minutes. We start running again in solid rain and bam, we are being hit by hail. Now we are really laughing.

Finally make our way back to churchofthejig parking lot for a little over 6 miles. Chat briefly with Alyssa and I head the last 1/4 mile back to the condo in pouring rain and traffic. What a great run!
