The race had a different starting point than in 2010, but it was basically the same route. This race was probably the last race before Comrades that I would have been able to run a sub-1h30 on a half Marathon in 2011 (its the half Marathon with the flattest profile I know of in Gauteng). But, my head left me in the race... and could have physically done it if the psychology of the sport did not get to me...
