This is probably one of the fastest routes in Gauteng and easily my favourite half-marathon to date. Was a chilly morning, ideal for running. I'm a bit disappointed in not getting a PB (currently 1:25:16), but had to slow down a bit due to a pull in my hamstring/groin at about 13km (I think it is rather a nerve injury, due to a lack of stretching, than a muscle injury). Will see a physio this week.
