Notes

As scheduled, was supposed to do the first 10 around 7:40 pace or so, then pick it up close to marathon race pace for 4 or 5 miles, then finish 1 mile easy for 16. Ended up running the first 10 at 7:30 pace, picked it up a little but then burned out unfortunately. I'll take it for being only week 4, but I have work to do.

Took two energy gels. The first one, with 110 calories, at 45 minutes, then the next around 75 minutes which had 250 calories + 50 mg of caffeine. This run was a combination of the Sunnyking lollypop course, the 2 mile neighborhood loop, and for the last 3 miles, the field.

The fastest mile was mile 13 in 6:56.
