Super warm night at the track. The three mile tempo run was a rough pace, but totally doable. Started out a bit behind pace, but picked it up at the end despite knowing I had room to relax. The 800s were tougher than I expected - the pace felt a LOT faster than I thought it would and I had a hard time hitting it on the first one. On the second one, though, I just let it rip and came in right where I needed to be.
The heat wasn't too bad - I was definitely feeling it, and stopped for water during all the recoveries, but it didn't hurt my pace at all. I cut the recovery intervals down to 400 from 600 because 400 just felt like it was long enough (esp with the water break).
