All changing the resistance on the elliptical seems to do is make it decide that I'm covering more ground, but it doesn't feel like the effor changes. My HR still stubbornly stays right around 135 (which is insanely low for me). Perhaps I'll just look at this as some quality base training. (Also: it's better than nothing.)
