Warmup & cooldown mileage in Eugene with Helen for her race. She ran the Eugene Women's Half-Marathon. Took 1st place overall!!!! Beat several good female runners including Run Portland's top 2 ladies & a girl from Boulder, Co. Train fiasco before mile 1 prevented us from getting an accurate time for her. Had to stop, then wait about 10 mins to start again. After that, she basically ran the first half with the Boulder girl and then dropped her and ran the 2nd half by herself. Great run for her and would've been a PR if it weren't for the logistical disaster...
