Ran from Helen's parents house to Dan's trail in Corvallis. Really liked the trail system! Found the trailhead from 29th St. Trail was 1 mile from their house. Trail was soft gravel single track that climbs up Dimple Hill in the outskirts of the McDonnel Forest. Took "Upper Dan's Trail" to close to the top of the hill then turned around and decided to explore another trail called the "Horse Trail Connector". Just followed this one about a half mile up and then turned around and reconnected to "Lower Dan's Trail". Was able to connect it to a loop and came back where I started. Finished last 2 miles back to the house mostly downhill. Body felt good today despite the mostly gradual uphill nature of the trail. Perfect weather outside made for a great easy run. Finally, some decent trails to run in Corvallis.
