Good solid solo run up on the trails today. Noticed a break in the weather and the semi warm temperatures so I decided to go for it. I am never dissapointed when I run this trail. The trail was in great shape despite all the rain. I was a little worried it was going to be hard to run on, especially the first 2 miles but it wasn't a problem at all. The hilly sections of the course certainly did feel tough today. I felt like I was running slower than usual today but looking at the times I guess I wasn't. The waterfall half-way into the run was definately looking stronger today since all the fall rain replenished the streams. Stopped for a little bit to take it all in. Last 1.8 on Storey Burn Rd. I picked up the pace to a relatively comfortable tempo back to the car. Overall solid day on the trail and no rain!
