Interesting run today with Eric in Newberg. I had the bright idea to rope him into running the 'Full-Quartz' route, which I had done before with Kris. Nice scenic run I told him. Well, what happened was I had a hard time finding the roads, EVEN THOUGH I WROTE THEM DOWN and carried the paper with me. So instead of running the loop, we basically ended up running around town and then out to Hwy 99W and back. On top of that disaster, it was 92 friggin degrees outside~!!! Suprisingly, I felt decent out there, but Eric not so much. I eventually found all of the roads I was looking for but it was too late and we had to skip the scenic and fun parts of the route. Hopefully Eric will forgive me for dragging him out there on a hot day and not providing a coherent, scenic route.
