Solid 'moderately hard' workout on the treadmill at the gym. Decided to do this workout because we pulled the plug on Helen's scheduled 10K race in Turner, OR this morning. We drove all the way out there only to discover ice on the road/course. We drove the course and tried running on it but it was too slippery and unsafe. So we just headed back to Portland (long drive sucks). More snow flurries throughout the day didn't help either. We went to the gym to do a workout instead and I decided to do this workout myself because I had Helen doing a similiar workout at the same time next to me. First time doing this workout myself and I LOVED IT! The concept is inspired by Canova but this specific workout itself is entirely original from me (to my knowledge). Definately will incorporate this type of training more often. Body felt comfortable during the workout. Last interval I took the pace down to 5:00 for the last .2. Great way to finish the workout feeling good! Just taking my time coming back into workouts. I already feel great which is a good sign! Helen had a good workout as well.
