Excellent effort - close to 3hrs off limited training. Kept pace in check and all felt good until the wheels fell off at 37km. Until 32km it was fine and pace was ok until 35km+. Hokas worked very well. Pacing felt comfortable. Gels were ok - Medalist is better than Gu, Zipvit is in the middle. Restored my faith in marathons; this was much easier than London and a better time too, and off lower volume training. The last few kms were 100% effort, but much of the race was a 8-9 for effort. Very nice run.
