Notes

Weekly long run - did 34.4km in 2hrs 42mins 31secs, including 9mins 18secs of breaks (toilet/gel/water).

Started strongly - laps of 17mins 53secs, 17mins 35secs, 17mins 37secs and 2km of 9mins 12secs. Doing under 70mins for 4 laps would be easy as this pace felt comfortable. Gel/salt/water at 14km.

Next set of laps were 2km in 8mins 35secs, 4km in 17mins 53secs and 18mins 16secs, and 2km in 8mins 14secs. Then a toilet/water/gel/salt break of 3mins 53secs at 26km.

2 more 2km sections in 9mins 37secs and 9mins 29secs. Then another 3mins toilet break and finished the gel. Getting quite gassy on these runs, try Imodium next time.

Final 2 sections of 2km in 8mins 22secs and 8mins 50secs. Thenwalked over Bowen Road and 1min 41secs to the top of Blue Pool Road.

Good run overall, and good not to skip the long run. But Nike Zoom is certainly not a marathon shoe, left me with an acheing foot and blisters; the sole is just too soft.
