Not feeling good during the first 8km but felt better after a gel and some Nuun. Kept at it and saw the run through to 30km which is a decent effort under the circumstances. Took 3 gels during the run, and needed them too. Pace was modest - lap times of 18mins 27secs, 19mins 0secs, 18mins 48secs, 18mins 48secs, 18mins 53secs, 18mins 55secs, then 3km laps in 14mins 25sec and 14mins 4secs.
