Very tough race and not helped by the weather. Reached 31 degrees, though humidity was low at 38%. Up Sunset Peak in around 1hr 5mins and reached the checkpoint in 1hr 39mins. Not bad going at this stage. Struggled up Lantau Peak and was out of water before the next checkpoint - this race could not have been finished (by me) unsupported. After that it was getting harder. Ran ok for a bit but started to cramp and the Ngong Ping stairs were a real struggle - just walking at that stage. Walked home mainly. Was on for under 4hrs for the early stages, but watched this disappear and barely broker 4hrs 30mins in the end. Very hard going.
