Not really feeling good for this - think the last tempo workout of the taper took some spring out of my legs. Up to 12km I didn't feel fluid and felt quite stiff. After some salt I felt a bit better. Pushed on to around 17km then got caught by the 3:10 pacemaker. Decided to keep up with him for the next few km before pulling away from him. Took 6 gels, a lot of salt in the warmer weather. Split times of: 21:38, 21:40, 22:05, 22:13, 22:19, 22:53, 22:59, 23:48, and just over 10mins to close the last 2.2km. Hit the wall by around 37km and struggled home.
