Very windy day and an undulating course - wore a Buff most of the way though it felt a bit warm after a while. Didn't feel quick and was conscious of keeping my breathing under control. Picked up a bit over the race and finished with a strong last mile.
Inconsistent watch-keeping but splits of 20mins 55secs for the first 3 miles, 41mins 23secs for the next 6 miles, 7mins for the next mile and 20mins 45secs for the last 3.1miles.
Finished hard but within myself most of the way.
