After a couple days of low motivation, I finally tried out my ankle on a legit run, and after a lot of stretching it felt good! It's not perfectly healthy but I didn't notice any pain on my run (though my breathing was worse than usual -- allergies?). Afterward I did some dynamic leg core and some normal core which went surprisingly well.

I'm doing about 3x40m each of lunges and side squat walks. It leaves my butt sore like anything for a couple days but it feels much more satisfying to me than weight machines.
