Notes
As my luck would have it, the day after my excellent long run I came down with a nasty 103 degree fever. I was bedridden for two days and my symptoms didn't fade until yesterday. I had to avoid any activity beyond walking around my house just to have the energy to recover, so unfortunately I lost a week of training.
But I'm picking it back up today. My pacing was really shaky, starting sub-7 for a while and falling near 7:30 by the third mile, picking it up intermittently. Breathing wasn't at its best and the heat (while not deadly) didn't help, and it all felt just a little off. I'm alright with that considering the long break I was on.
I'm hoping to drive up my mileage this week, if I can find the time to do so.
