Pulled up really well after yesterday's long run except for one part...

Have been reading lots and yup, my IT band is fukt again.

Not much to do except rest, keep poppin' the anti inflams, massaging the steroid cream, ice packs, elevation, rest, and try not to get a bleeding stomach!

Can still swim so will just have to focus on the pool for a while I guess.

Bevan, a buddy here is racing his first Ironman in July and has an online coach (not cheap). He's forwarded his training program to me which is sweet. Will stick to my own running sked, but will probably try a lot of the swim/bike workouts he does.

This swim was sweet - main focus is on form, raising HR and then recovering a little before raising it again.

- 2 x 100 mod

- 4 x 50 (reducing hard - ez)

Main: 2 x through the following;

- 4 x 100 ez on 10sec

- 2 x 100 mod on 20sec

- 2 x 50 hard on 30sec
