Off the bike, pounded water and changed into shorts and shoes and back out onto the road.

Legs like jelly, sunny and hot in Niseko, wind had died down....

HR just peaking, no matter how slow I tried to run. Surprised to reach 2.5k turnaround in 10min & change - that's too quick. Had to put the brakes on or I was gonna die.

HR kept rising and rising, gasping, hurting...

Made it home, just barely - still waaay too fast - should've walked it home. LOVE these shoes tho!

My watch even automatically upgraded me to a new Max HR!

OK, so does that qualify as a thirst earner for Crazy BK Saturday tomorrow? Everyone's gonna be L-O-A-D-E-D!!!!
