This year is a focus on getting my speed back, I have sent the last 2 months doing the workouts that worked for me back in 2012. 1000/1200 meter repeats near est. 5K pace, and 1mi tempo runs and more. I felt controlled today, I didn't look at my watch. It was a hard race with the wind and the 2nd mile but I think I handled it well. I don't have my speed legs yet but this wasn't a complete shocker like previous 5K's have been for me. I plan on racing often and hard so I can get comfortable doing this again, it's my passion I would love to see myself back in the low 17's and maybe even take a swing at 16's one...last....time. I think I can do it, I just need to train well and keep up the good work. First 5K in the books for the year, let's keep them coming
