Had a tough time getting going today but glad I got a good workout in. Got a text from Chris Smith beforehand and thought something might be going on with his parents and that was weighing really heavy through all of this. Luckily it wasn't anything and we just caught up on the phone afterward. This didn't come as easily as the previous tempo workouts I've done but after a couple reps I felt decent and ultimately good enough to do the 5th rep, which makes this my longest workout in a while. I'd like 5:55 pace to be easier than this but I'll get there. I hope than in a month to be able to do all of these 10s faster. I'm curious what I could have done if it hadn't been under 30 degrees and I hadn't had Chris' text on my mind.
