Did this with Kyle and Lucas. We weren't sure what we'd do but Lucas didn't want to do 200s, which now that I think about it a bit more, I think I feel like we've done enough workouts like this to do longer reps than 200s. The goal was to alternate 80s and 75s, which was a little harder than I expected. This might have been partly due to us doing all but the last 2 reps in lane 3 (hence the 230m recovery vs 200m that we would have done otherwise). I thought I was on pace for pretty much all of this at least through the first 200m, but maybe we were just slowing down in the second half of most reps. Regardless, this was a solid but not really impressive workout which I really feel is the way to go at this time of year.

We took some extra standing rest after reps 4 and 8, although not that much after rep 8. Kyle did 6 reps total and still did all of his typical weekly mileage in a day, so kudos to him for doing this. I feel like I'm in a great place training-wise and a huge part of that is having Lucas to work out with, so I hope he and I keep it up and Kyle gets in on more runs and workouts with us.

Felt my left adductor a little by the end, I think this was a lot of turning for me. After a few minutes of cooling down it wasn't bugging me, but something to keep in mind for future workouts for sure.
