Notes

Dabbling in some watered down early season Daniels 5K work. 2 sets of 6 x 200m w/ 200m jog at a conservative mile pace. I was shooting for 36-36.5 for all of these and had a hard time finding that rhythm so my reps ranged from 34-mid to 37-mid. Probably to be expected after not running anything near this pace on a track for a long time. These felt pretty more or less like extended strides which made me think I did a good job of hitting the intention of the workout. Averaged 36.1 but I can't decide if that is a good thing. I feel like it doesn't really matter. Also did 2 laps in lane 4 at about 5:30 pace to extra warm up.

Might do another workout Friday depending on how I feel the next couple days. There's no great reason to fit it in before taking 9 days pseudo-off except that it might be fun.

Ran in the Bostons which are great for tempo but I definitely don't like taking corners on the track in them at this pace because for some reason they just feel unstable when other flats I've run in don't.
