Meant to do this yesterday but ended up going for a fairly long walk with Liz, Trevor, and Bingying and then went to Dad's for a swim and dinner.

I didn't want to head to the track, mostly to avoid the track, but also wanted to find somewhere reasonably flat and mostly shaded. Franklin street ended up being great for this! Odd reps were slightly net uphill and evens were slightly net downhill but there was enough rolling in the stretch I ran on that I don't think the elevation was much of a factor. Tried to keep this pretty controlled and I think it went really well. A little longer than I would normally do for a first tempo workout of the summer but also a bit easier with all the rest built in and I think it was a good fit. Added the short reps on at the end of turn over a little but probably snoozed a little on reps 2 and 3 plus those were slightly uphill.
