Notes

Tried for a modified Daniels workout today. Decided to do the 200s on Bancroft hill and then the 600s on the track. The 200s were a bit tougher than I expected on the hill and I really struggled to hit the 600s, partly because of the wind but maybe also because I'm just tired. Decided to call the workout because I was feeling like garbage and didn't want to dig myself a hole just to complete the workout. Honestly don't care much, I think this was the right move.

This has me wondering if I really should do this Daniels plan. 400s are okay but I'm not sure I have the training in my legs right now for longer reps at mile pace. I feel like I'd be better off treating this like a summer build-up and then training for track in 6-8 weeks. Since I won't be able to make the USATFE Open champs for indoor, I can just run the one race at GBTC and maybe one more but invest more for the spring. I'll think it over and decide some time this week.
