couldn't quite do 17.4, but managed to run almost the entire 17.1 this time (1 x 2 min. walk; 1 x 1 min. walk--both up hills). Last 4 miles were still very, VERY rough...barely moving, but moving nonetheless! This time, had a fruit chew bar while running slowly up a hill at 7 miles (kinda hard to breathe chewing and running!) and this seemed to work for me. Had a couple of slow downs for water -- still don't like the feeling of it sloshing around while running but better than being dehydrated in the heat! Very happy this run is OVER!
