I currently have one speed and one speed only because of the stupid calf. If I try to increase my speed, calf pulls. Luckily this is making me work on form: running tall, trying to keep shoulders loose, using the ball of my foot and rolling forward to toe off...keeping toes relaxed. I wouldn't be practising all this if I was able to go faster. Did some walking lunges and walking high knees after. This was going to be a pool run today but deep end was closed. Tomorrow til Friday, I should be in the pool to give legs a break. Even though it feels do-able, I know it's a matter of time before the pains start to pile up and become unmanageable.
